Description
Halloween crawled over the body. Mageon’s mouth gaped open in horror. “What are you?” she whimpered.
"Everything you've ever been afraid of." He opened his mouth wide. His jaws unhinged and he consumed Mageon’s face. Mageon’s screaming became muffled and her thrashing settled. When Halloween got up, Mageon’s face was nothing more than a bloody pile of flesh, missing organs and pulp.

Edit 1: I fixed up the hair. Now it falls over his shoulder instead of looking weird sitting on his bad. I also added some stronger values.

I read your journal so im going to mega-tique this because it is one of my favorites of yours.
Strengths: excellent perspective, it shows through the sort of dimensional feel of the top fangs *the left being drawn behind the right* and the ears * the left one again drawn behind the right to the center of the piece* Light source is made well clear *from above* and shows excellent texture? right word? balance is also nicely prominent, while most of the body remains on the left side, the colors on the right have a weighted feel from the gray-ish rest and balance it out quite nicely. the pose is active as opposed to static
Weaknesses: i think this piece could do with a larger range in value, especially in the face, as nice as it is it could be a lot better with more value, and would make it look more professional and intended as opposed to sketchy *i understand you were going for sharp lines to make it more dynamic and that as well is VERY successful, but you can have it soft and sharp at the same time*
